Short Comradery Poems

Everything seems more life-sized than normal today, 
and the air is perfumed with justice.
Comradery defines America, as tears of relief 
roll down our cheeks. 
The sky is bluer, the grass is greener and people
are smiling on the streets.
We fought, we journeyed , we won.

Not just one of us
But each of us.
Is but a tiny droplet on the face of this world.
Wash your face and wash your hands of
Your fears of this.

We will survive
The enemy maybe invisible and has us surrounded 
But we are all of us
Surviving each of us together.
This is how we adapt to survive.
We  all now are refugees fleeing disaster....

Running, but sitting
Down. 

The sun is fading
Fast now. 

Torn skin on the 
stained church window
is fleshy and fresh. 

I look at you
and wonder where we'll
end up. 

So different, but yet
the Same. 

And parking lots, 
Dismantled school, 
and bathroom exposure
Makes me curious

Computer code
and early was
our comradery.

And you perhaps 
Normal. 

What a sentiment
and nothing more....

The act of keeping you in my heart is like surfing through double rainbows, knowing that the spectrum of color diminishes into the clouds. Finding out the pot of gold is just a myth. What nature presents is a mysterious beauty that can only be mirrored by the allusion of true love.
