On lazy days and boring nights
Kdrama shows I lay my sight
Every second spent feels so right
Than talking to someone not worth my fight
Shows maybe are just shows
Yes it won't care for me 'til my white hair grows
Some scenes maybe heart-breaking
Romantic comedies excite me through
Full attention each episode draws
Unlike a man who's giving me crumbs
Over time my heart goes numb.
Adult choosing a thousand roles,
In all the roles sizable holes…
His official first Name was Dole;
In anger dropped for Mr. Mole,,
Because another Mister Dole
Had failed in a conducted poll…
His previous celebrated goal
In a stable keeping a foal;
To other targets tagging ‘Sole’
But last year for Christ won A Soul,
His Bishop’s Staff a pole;
His thanksgiving in bowl…

musical comedies, musical chairs,
and decorated music boxes.
I am a sucker for
baby oil, baby blankets, homemade
baby booties, and babies.
I am a sucker for glitter,
glitziness, and glitter glue.
I am a sucker for shiny things
Shiny bumpers, shiny windows,
shiny lakes, shiny snow, and shiny stars
I am a sucker for games
Monopoly, Cadoo, Life, Chess,
Uno, Old Maid.
I guess I am just a sucker.
Back in black.
Don't know jack.
Movies more movies.
Shark attack in 3D.
Back attack, old age.
Over the hill, not.
Lots of snot, zombie rot.
Day of the zombies, zombie on.
Vampire movies in; Aliens too.
Comedies, dramadies and Westerns ,too.

Monday is a coming day
right for crying with dismay
for the pain that surrounds
another grind till week’s end
the breadth of work to be endured
matters less than madness found
the comedies compete for time
against the tragedies of the mind
the many goals bang about
conflicting with each ego’s wish
an end result may yet appear
while trepidation turns to fear
priorities becoming mixed
when the plans dance about
the tears will flow as a result
as the week begins again.
