Silenced speech, we've lost our way.
Shaping the fascists we sought to slay.
Within one's heart it breathes
to make triumphant the spirit.
Nothing happens by accident
when it refuses to submit.
From deep inside it dictates,
far stronger forces negating.
Denying evil's coercive power,
it pulses, forcefully resisting.
With it the good man can win
giving him the will to choose.
Putting to shame the wicked,
there is no way he can lose.
Summon the strength
to confront pain, grief;
to endure danger
or the threat thereof.
Campaign with determination
to face a valiant struggle.
Boldly challenge the fear within
to prepare for resistance
with instinctive
physiological response.
Compel a coercive compulsion
to become valid.
Assume risk when others retreat.
Stand for righteousness
in the face of adversity.
This is the nature of courage.
