My Dance Partners - Visual 2
A gallant moon extends gold fingers to me on the dance floor
as I slip my legs into the chorus line of tall, green grass with ease.
Like a spiraling leaf, I’m free until eyes freeze upon his tracks....

Never Asked
Looking for questions no one has asked
Creating symphonies from the pauses
Letters tip toe to the front
to join the chorus line
From the darkness
huddled over
trying to protect the light
that burns itself away
Striving to be naive
Making belief believe
Just imagine
cause that's all i do...

Premium Member Silence is Golden
Witness the folly of the yammering crowd

Those that speak smugly and those that speak loud

Spitting out syllables the live long day

With nothing to show and nothing to say

A chorus line of mechanical mouths

A bevy of bores from the north to the south

Wherever you go they're standing beside us

Let's pray that they all catch laryngitis...

Premium Member Prettiest M that Could Ever Be
Merry was the prettiest M that ever could be
She was swirly and floral, a gorgeous sight to see
We tried to compliment her, but she did not hear
She was unassuming and modest, a melodious dear

She could carry a tune, marvelously melodic and fine.
Many merrymaking suiters stood next to her in a chorus line.
Each wanted attention, because Merry was totally lovely.
She was truly the prettiest M that ever could be....

Premium Member Froggy Bottom Chorus Line
Froggy bottom chorus line was jazzy and smart
They obeyed with rhythm, they bogeyed with heart
They brought their dance routine to a whole new art
Choreography of their steps, courtesy of leader, McLart
This boggy chorus line danced nearly off the chart
Every one of them, even smart little missy Tart.
I was mesmerized said my dour cousin Bill Bart.
Best of all was when the whole line began to belch and fart.
Scaring flies who did not know which way to dart...

If Was the Mona Lisa Smile
If I was

The Mons Lisa

Having every day to awaken

Unto a seemingly endless chorus line of
critic's

Displayed as a center piece of art
adorned on a museum wall

Listening to each and everyone of them

Wish in some small part to sum the
essence of her being up

By simply believing what is perceived at
first to be a Smile

May just as easily in fact not be

A Smile after all

We only see what we want to see

The rest our minds block out...

Premium Member The Enchanted Puppet Theater
The puppet theater was enchanted, we all knew it too.
Weird bleating goats and dancing sheep knew what to do.
Yodeling chickens and roosters danced in a fancy chorus line.
We could watch these antics at any time, and it was fine!

The puppet theater had been created by a magical man.
He had wizardly ways. I think his name was Devilish Dan.
He parked this enchanted theater up high on a meadow’s hill.
Soulful laughing and singing can be heard from this theater still....

Premium Member Cats Chorus Line
The cats were marching. Tap. Tap. Tap.
Their claws a’clicking. Slap. Slap. Slap.
Their mouths were meowing. Mew. Mew. Mew.
He counted, there were seventy-two.

They formed a chorus line of course.
One came out naked riding a horse.
They began eating. Crunch. Crunch. Crunch.
These cats were sure a lively bunch!

The show was active and fun to watch.
Those leg kicks of theirs were hot. hot. hot.
Those cats were sensuous, sexy too.
This cat dream my cat Shark’s waterloo!...

Creation’s Crust

Performing - a chorus line – life dancing
the golden haired seductress saunters past
temptress – pheromonally enhancing –
sweet aura that descends as breezes pass,
the innate scent of instinct’s net is cast.

Mock battles that decide a species fate
feathered prance seeking egos to deflate
survival of the fittest will ensure
that seasons are fulfilled and then abate -
the struggle of creation thus endure.
