The boys have formed a Rock Group
Whilst Liam plays guitar
He hopes he'll reach the doors of fame
And so, become a super star

Brendan, he does play the drums
He loves to feel that beat
"I did not know they played so well'
With amazement, spoke our Pete

But Vera wasn't too impressed
She said "that's far too heavy"
I do wish that they would play
Some sweet stuff just for me...

Only after a  small  army of Vikings from overseas 
Traded and raided on the coasts for centuries; 
And Brendan had navigated from Ireland  to the Bronx;
Not to mention precolumbian wrecks of Chinese  junks 
Found in the sandy bottom of San Diego harbor;
And the Mongoloid  footsloggers who tiptoed south to Ann Arbor
Across the floes of the Bering Strait ten millennia before....
