While Writing Up a Poem
When a poet is going to write up a poem
Somehow alike a fish is going to take a breath
Breathings took with strength generate ripples
While slight breathings would only whisp gas
Someone might think they are different entirely
How can you compare a poet to a fish
The fish makes a piece only in shallow water
While a poet can do so even in strange trees...

Vagabond Hearts
In the heat of the moment,
You tossed and turned in my bed
Your insecurities as we speak,
The certainty of your emotions as our lips meet.
Shallow breathings in the darkness,
Vagabond hearts are in a deep conquest
If both are being honest,
Between our mind and body there's a protest.
Your head in the crook of my neck,
Made my guard shattered
In the euphoric heat of the moment,
My entirety was of no regret......

The Hypocondriac
i dont feel well at all today
i think ive got the flu
the sweat is pouring out of me
like ive had a vindaloo
its minus three degrees outside
the frost is on the ground
but i am burning up and now
my head is spinning round
the pins and needles in my arm
are shooting down my side
and now im going dizzy
like im on a fairground ride
a crushing pain is in my chest
my breathings getting slack
i cant beleive i chose today
to have a heart attack...

Jogging
I jogged, one foot after the other,
Lungs wide open to welcome,
Breathings of the warm evening air,
Eyes stung at the touch of
Cruel sweat, saturated and salty.
I jogged, a flat branch overhead,
My left arm reached out to touch
The tree and its clippings,
Dwindling down the serpent's throat,
Though my fingers were amiss.
I jogged, against the moving air,
Soles hitting the ground aloud,
Bullets firing as if the sound,
Outpacing the farthest person,
All was fair and square....

Stop the Violence
Stop the Violence
not in silence
Lot the wild is
on the street crying
trying to grab a grip
something to eat
Flying back at tip
of the wing the system
blinding the kids with a backwards
education defining deprivation
of a freedom promise to all
who live on the land as equal
yet currency confuses the category
Manners Glory Honor one another
as Kings and Queens should
Acknowledge the blessings
breathings
Forgiveness is hard yet
satisfying
as the humble make it out the jungle...
