A Child's Mind
A child's mind
One of the purest things on earth.
For they know not of lies,
or deceptions.

They speak the truth.
It's all they know.
They speak the truth
and often show

Bluntness isn't always malicious.
Matter of fact...
It can come in
Total innocence....

The Ceiling Fan
The ceiling fan that surveys the room
With its unbiased demeanour...
& sickening pace...
Mutters abuses to me...
As if it doesn't like my company...

But helpless that I'm...
I simply have to bear the bluntness...
Owing to the sweltering summer...
I can not imagine a life without its company....!...

Anguish when fragmented by helpless musings
Bluntness staggers like punches
Sluggish when cut by limitations
Elixers downed promising possibilities
Needing the energy bravery requires while
Crevices threaten the sagacity of age
Extinction in the rage of alzheimer's cage

I Deserve More
I deserve the truth
no lies
bluntness
tell me that you care
this isn't fair
I deserve the warmth of affection
the climax of emotions
the embrace of intertwine souls
I deserve a heart that pounds for my passion
good or bad times
I can count on you any time
is this love such a crime
if so tell me so I can find someone that will treat me better
"so speak now or forever hold your peace"...

Ruminance
Old feelings from the past,
Rekindled by a single thought
Hopefully not here to last.
My last heart has been bought.

My quick and simple solution,
Makes an insignificant impact
Stuck in a circle of confusion,
My own jealously is intact.

All the knives cutting me are blunt
But a particular blunt knife hurts
It's bluntness, in anger, makes me grunt.
This little heart of mine hasn't learnt.

By an Anonymous friend of mine....

The Shadow
Shall I not speak of the shadows?
The very depths of the soul of the sun?
For there is surly no more beautiful thing
In the sunlight everything is glaringly clear
Hot with the bluntness of the rays
The harshness of its gaze
But in the shadows
Everything may be as it chooses
Rules may be bent
Or broken
And the shade the shadows bring is by far more comfortable
The sun does pierce the soul
While the shadows caresses it with gentle fingers...

Sharpness
Needle spinosity into my spine; whimper - whine, dine.
Bluntness on top of cattle heads, humans must be fed.
Spikelet tack - cork. Sage stuffing, serve with pork dead.
Hedgehogs and porcupines - sharp hairs, sharp quills.
Adam's-needle, blood drops drop. Axes - blood spills.
Chevaux-de-frise; comb a peg-tooth harrow.
Watch flights of the Spring-tooth sparrow.
Canine teeth bite the black birds, absurd.
Featheredge ones pull out,
Sharp teeth under a snout....

Libra's Charm
A small speck of dirt on my floor
is worse to me than brutal war.
Gritty grime and nauseous noises;
ruin Perfectly prime Poises!

Once you're put together we'll talk,
I'll watch your details like a hawk.
Oh, us early birds get the worm,
if you're late, you'll make me squirm!

Foul bluntness never held my charm,
radicals just cause all alarm...
Life should be like a golden scale,
Beautiful balance never fails!
