Early morning hours
Mother nature awakens
All life, resonates
To her bio-rhythms and
A new day stretches its’ wings.

Ugly

I'm useless
I'm a disgrace
I'm pathetic
I'm a joke
I'm a failure
I'm dirty
I'm awful

And it's all because of YOU.

Writing Belief

It is always my belief
to write is not either
to loss or wins
in a contest
but to convey
the message
of the unvoiced.

My nose pressed flat against the pane
A yearning welled within,
A sigh,a shrug,I shuffle off
Childhood was rationed then.

Premium Member Sometimes It Hurts

Some think that the word poetry
should be tossed upon the shelf,
and wedged between two angry bookends:
'what' and 'ever'.

It's Been Said

everything was perfect
he said I was his friend
he lied
cares about no one

the story of his life.

Flight of the Simplistic Soul

Now I lay me down to weep
Knowing that I cut too deep
And if I should die before I wake
I knew that life was too much to take

Why

Life is not fair to me,
 maybe it shouldn't be.
Never did I imagine,
 opening up my heart,
  perpetuating its falling apart.

Despair

In a quiet moment of solitude
I fear my life may be slipping away
I watch as it ebbs on the wind
Leaving this empty shell behind

We were separated.
