A swindling paradox
Before time,
Before mass,
Before politics.

Begetting creation
To vanquish boredom....

Begetting
Daylight bleeds its seeds.
A nightly womb
is again inseminated.

The day was hurried
it pulled out too early.
Dawn is a dead lamb
in the snow.

Tomorrow we will seek
new ways
into those legends

wherein,
Gods birth humans....

Premium Member In bondage to form
Wherefrom arises desire begetting thought,
more so in moments when we think we are still,
imagining ego is reduced to naught
and that we have surrendered to God our will?
It seems clear bondage to form invokes desire
in heart, manifesting as a fearsome fire,
quelled easily enough though if we so choose
without excuse, to make love and light our muse....

Pearl 1
PEARL

Invested with iridescence
Calcium carbonate could impersonate
And subvert solemn daylight.

In the indifferent ocean
Oysters copulate with future
And grow gravid in nature.

Begetting a rare solidity
Befitting a miniscule masterpiece
Which is just happenstance

For a huge price, this prised-out gift.

Hand-I-Capped
Do you have five fingers
without a fist

A hope that lingers
a wanton wish

Do your letters jumble
beneath the words

Does your breath cut off
before it’s heard

Does silence threaten
what can’t begin

With empty horror
begetting sin

Whose grip wraps tightly
o’er digits limp

Your soul indentured
—creation’s gimp

(Dreamsleep: October, 2022)...

Evolution Ii
... the swimmer
swam up the tube
within a frantic assemblage
of other swimmers
pushing
shoving
striving
writhing
towards an egg queen serene
in a womb room needing
swimmers for seeding
begetting gametes to collide
and form a more perfect union as
a zygote only a mother could love.
Fish-eyed unfeathered fetus
eons
     beyond
           the beginning....

Only a Poet
Only a Poet…
  can change feelings into air,
  begetting a new feeling

Only a Poet…
  can transform thoughts into verse,
  birthing a new thought

Only a Poet…
  can define the indefinable,
words meaning more than their letters allow

And only a Poet can stab time in the heart,
  to bleed free and eternal,
   —only a Poet

(Villanova Pennsylvania: January, 2017)...

Vanquished Trust
If you a seeking for trust?
Behold deep within your inner self.

Prisoner in a castle called chest.
Captive in a chamber that's blood red.

Bound by shackles of impure deeds.
Whose jagged edges have defiled.

The basic definition of humane kind.
She is the love child of hope and charity.

Apocryphal gospel preached by demigods.
Inundating the analytical mind.

Begetting a cesspool of Discrimination.

Love has lost its sanctity....

Veil: the dark, ignorance, befuddlement, web of illusions, begetting delusion, said to be a divine play, as our fickle attention sways, blown like a leaf in the hurricane, encircled by ego, our thoughts inane. More the learning, lesser is our knowing, whilst joy and sorrow remain cyclic. On choosing total surrender, we imbibe bliss in wonder, resting our lower mind, free of ego bind. Our ascension just happens, as does dawn. 20-October-2020
