Economic Woes

Economic woes I dread
To feed my family I sold the toupe off my head
Went to the shop
Where I fainted with shock
It costs two wheel barrows of money to buy a loaf of bread

Darkest is the night; As the rabbits and hide neath the barrows; Chattering in silence gibbering; Disappearing till next day or spring; Early autumn birds flee south; Over the citizens houses; Lol, dark of nights summer critters hide in fright;

Debt

It was collected with deal
It backfired with glee
Refunding with pain
Casting away the gain
Sweats burrowed the furrows
To move,we borrowed the barrows
The barons gave the limit
The fire cackled in the pit
I am hot from pursue
I'm told I''ll be sued
Who will stand for me?
It is debt!
And I am incepted
And I am shamed
That's what debt does to all.

Dark Cathedral

Dark art in a black cathedral
Everyones invited see all the people
Dressed as ghouls in barrows with wights
love is the spider that consumes the fly

Half my face for all to see
the other side black like the darkest sea
Moonshine falls on crystal eyes
the bones of our minds creak and sigh

Midnight mare moves with me
We rock and sway like ships at sea
On an ocean plain of marble floor
Within my heart her anchors moored
