He twisted practical and saw that our family required some adoration.

The men are in a trance

Building a Dream

Building a dream
one thought at a time, each
with attendant sensations
flowing from a creative mind,
isn’t so hard to do,
but it can be a struggle,
even castles made of sand 
are work, too much work
when they cease being fun,
better to write on water
or leave our thoughts 
in the sky, effortlessly
painted in a sunset
flowing in a cloud train
wherever the wind may blow…

an objective lesson of technology progression. 

Long lacking use, should be rot and rust. 
Yet is anything but, even years without digging rut. 

A hand once guided, a horse once dragged. 
Hung up like the harness, and the feed bag.

Come to rest
On a gently rippling creek 
Where placid mists acquiesced
And one horse carriages so sleek
Surrendered humanity’s finest 
Midnight sons to seek
Their customary agonist 
So renowned they were to sneak  

Neither humility nor unheard cries
Echo past the shop displays
Beyond the attendant sunrise
An unsightly game
It remains the same
All in a daze
For everyone sighs
And closes his eyes
In so many ways
And in so many days
Society dies...
