My Notebook
Cardboard bound, paper built
And shackled in plastic rings
The world labelled Notebook
Hold all sorts of wondrous things.
Pages stained with a hundred spells,
Brings the land alive,
So tell me, weary traveller,
What do you need archived?...

Prolific choices;
Acquiring winds blowing past the trees;

People stalking;
Animals walking running,
 from the humans;

Captivating me;
All these trues;
Around me, surrounds me at the city

Metamorphosis
Streams from above,
Well of hope,
A new me,
Springs of joy.

Symphony of Redemption,
Light pervades the night,
Clearer vision,
Blooming meadow.

Lamp in the dark,
Unravelled mystery,
The taken is brought back,
The deep is revealed.

Messages from the book,
Spoken by the sages,
Notes from the past,
Archived in our hearts.

Archived
I protect the abandoned
paint over the graffiti
fill the shattered warehouse windows
with kapok stuffing,
lag rusting pipes with pitch and tar
chain all the broken doors from the inside.
Sleep on mounds of archived words
eyes drooping over yellowing pages.
One day I'm going to burn it all down,
but not this winter,
I still have to keep the dead
a little lukewarm....

Premium Member Tomorrow Is Never
Tomorrow Is Never Miracle Man 8/8/2024 We live our lives with one eye on tomorrow, while the other eye is beaming at our past. When tomorrow comes, it often brings sorrow, and past is the only thing archived to last. So we strive to live life one day at a time, praying to Almighty God to bless each day. That the beauty of each day might be sublime, while avoiding things that might lead us astray.

Black and blue memories turn to sunset;
All of the craziness that we’ve survived,
it’s like I’ve been branded by our secret;

So many roller coasters we just thrived,
as long as we rode down them together;
The tumultuous my heart has archived;

We aren’t exactly birds of a feather,
but two sets of wings still fly parallel;
Painting the sky in all types of weather;

My body reflects that rock solid spell,
those faded colors now a rebel yell.

January 1st 2025 Miracle man A hinder look see’s the year 2024 fade from view, today I contemplate what 2025 might have in store. I recount unpleasant past days, more than a few, but now, archived in history, they’re a closed door. As I pray for improved times to enrich my being, I’m also asking God to make of me, a better person. Also to bring world change from what I’m seeing, knowing each passing year the days will worsen.
