What If
What if when we die we all go back into our shared unconscious?

Becoming the subconscious of all those left behind

Making up the substance of all the archetypes and creations within our minds

Intuition being memories drawn from an infinite well

Knowing beyond knowing because we all share life
(Now turn out the light)...

Time for a tale,
Rules now broken;
Urge lifts the veil,
End with token.
Aim seeks knowing,
Rise to the quest;
Cast true seeking,
Heed what works best;
Embrace brave tact,
Trend a new swirl;
You seek a pact,
Plot to save world;
Echoes now fall,
Sense journey's call

Form
Form,
Idealized form,
whichever kind you are,
building, person, painting, landscape, poem;
touches archetypes in me
Archetypes,
thank God, are funny things.
They are not usual life.
Not mundane.
They bring--
life out of me;
joy out of me;
pleasure out to me.

I can’t help but smile
and my belly warms up inside
and I live next to pleasure for a moment
or a while.

Essential Impermanence

Long in the tooth of time darkness chews with polar dual opposites and
archetypes gnaw scrunch bite nibble at the essence of soft shadows’ radiance

When evening falls upon the terminal journey shades the passing glimpses
of reflection as ups and downs reverberate absorb retain mellow condense

Harsh flickering decay is balanced with candle light and vigil has the final chomp

The Modern Super Hero
Made up super heroes we're taught to love
Made up archetypes we watch get rough

We cheer on as they dispense justice
We've stopped questioning why we idolize this

As our heroes have become more brutal and more violent
We've become more detached and less present

We're passing our degradation of what it means to be a hero to the next generation
They won't be impressed until it's more violent, bloodier, the next super brutal sensation...

Blemished Stars
Standing ‘neath the spotlights
Burning white and blue
Calling on the muses
For something real and true

The theater is a sanctuary
A hallowed, fertile ground
Where humans mix with mystics
And the ancient wise abound

The poet, and the prophet
The shaman, and the priest
Displaying all the archetypes
From the greatest to the least

We’ll never tire of stories
For that is what we are
The theater is a universe
And we its blemished stars...

Premium Member We Are Born
We are born and born
and born again…
there is no death outside
the human fiction;

We write our destiny…
in letters of flesh and
blood--nourished by
the Spirit Immortal,

Our prayers are incantations
reaching into the infinite
to excite and extract
the archetypes of all
that is, and all that can
become—drawing from the
living realm of breathing
possibilities--

We are more than we
can imagine—and never less
than the image our God
and creator…....

Ephemera hung from the philosopher’s stoned mind

A plethora of rubies dangled at the heart of suspense

Diaphanous souls mingled at crossroads of thought

Seeping miasma and fragrance cutting diamond’s edge

Archetypes flowing at the rubicon of incisive return
