........wrap me up star in your soft coat twirling sounds
and dreams for me to dance to
on this table alone
and breeze
free
Leave me be, leave me be--
Why can't you see?
Depravity taints my sanity--
Vanity corrupts our fantasy--
Of a life without strife--
Sometimes meandering
Through glass & mire
My feet leave me
Dancing in the fire
Searching for what I'll never find
Darkness follows close behind
Scarlet pain & twisted sanity
Leave me broken
Longing for certainty.
Oh here comes misery again,
My constant companion,
she says I'm a bi~~#,
She follows me around,
Wherever I go,
Misery loves company,
She keeps asking me why do I love you so much,
And no-one else,
I said is it because I'm stinking rich!
Form:
Limp with exhaustion
Trying to uncover myself
To discover the heart of who I am
Will lead me forwards
Towards my future
Lost at the moment
Blind to the danger
Everyone's warning me
Yet I cannot take my eyes off him
The one who stole my heart
Who knows me too well.
Form:
What do I want and what do I desire?
How the question never tires
Entrenched in oil
Falling victim to heresy
Deceiving myself into apostasy
Gravity & I have come to an understanding
When I die
He's free to do with me as he pleases
Until then
He must grant me a day without pain.
Form:
floating rings of black water,
broken harps wail in infant cries.
spitting into a can of rhapsody,
is what keeps me awake til 4am.
I discover silence and dance to its verse,
I am guided both by sorrow and bliss.
I chose pain most of all to ride with me this moment,
for guilt is not a pleasure but it is easy to sleep with.
Waning moon
Resting me assured
You will return
You gently
Walk underneath her
Charming me
Snowflakes
Landing on my palm
Like angels
They carry
Your soft whisper I
Understand
Rest assured
I am here always
Like your moon
And when you
Gently speak to her
I will hear
Waxing moon
Resting me assured
You are here
Form:
Keep me safe within your arms
Hold me tight
For I fear I might lose you tonight.
Almost whole
I'll never feel good enough
Don't be alarmed I'm full of contradiction.
Laugh at me if you want
I laugh at myself all the time
I fancy myself a comedian of sorts.
Afraid to tell you how I feel
I know you'd never make fun of me
Still, I can't help these feelings of reservations.
Form:
I dream in sanguine
crippled 'pon the demise
of paupers.
Shackled to my seat,
unable to believe
this is reality.
Wake me up,
Oh someone wake me up.
Pour water 'pon me,
pinch me,
slap me,
kick me awake,
I've slept enough,
tis more then I can take.
It's science fiction come alive,
wreaking havoc before my eyes.
Oh won't someone please wake me?
Before I die in my sleep.
Joining Orwell for a cup of tea.
Form:
Envious, yet so pious
Lost in a sea of familiarity
The glare sets my soul on fire
I rose out of simple elements
How I tire
Hanging on a rusty wire
The air is thick
With the stench of perversity
Reality can be so cruel
You knew me then
Now a fool
A rebel to thoughtless rules
Kept amused by the dancing fire
The blue flame lit
Feels so cold
Leaving me numb
Feeling so old
You told me a story
Once before
Now I wait for your return
To enter through
The open door.
