Cryptic World
I can see you
the cracks and creases
of this seemingly perfect world.
I can see you
the wrinkles and patches
of this aforementioned passionate society.
I can see you
as my eyes gaze upon
the ravishing facade
and hmmmmmm
feel the grotesque cry....

Rambling In Rhyme For All Time
Crawling to each nanosecond
A descent calling to teach me
Another Plato lesson
Lessening the agony as for
Before what was aforementioned
Fragments of talents calcified
And classified as otherworldly
Unbelievable and that which walks
With Giants along the wastelands
Unwelcomed.........

Confinement
Such pretty words
Frightening
Though true still
Makes minds think
Hearts ponder
And souls,
How they wonder
If,
When,
And where-
The possibilities
Endless yet existing still
Much like such the confusion in the aforementioned
Hidden, but there still
Behind such muses always lives what’s real…...

The Stench of You
I smell regret!
I smell it on your clothes
and in your hair,
on your hands
and in every stitch,
every fiber,
every twist and turn in the path of your goddamned
chugga-chugga-choo-choo'ing
train of thought,
and it is especially noticeable in the carpet,
but then again,
that could just be the milk I spilled
when I caught a big fat whiff of the aforementioned regret......

Premium Member Poetry Is Awful
Damn poetry is awful! I had to turn off that show on NPR when the poet got round to the line, "Literature is the ashes under the playground set" spoken in such earnest. If there was a god, poets who came up with lines like that would be stricken dead by multiple lightning bolts from a clear blue sky without enough of them left to scatter under the aforementioned playground set....

Philly Dances
The mashed potato, watusi, and the twist, are old dances that I cannot resist. We don't have to go back in time to do those steps that are so sublime. They may have been popular half a century ago, but I still think they are the way to go. Those aforementioned dances all originated in Philly. Want to know how to do them? Just watch me! Inspired by another member's poem

Premium Member Two Standards
Two Standards Written: by Tom Wright 7-7-2016 There’s rules for the haves and have not’s, And it seems for some others, there’s none. Some sacrifice each day by going to work, While others draw SNAPS and lay in the sun; So If we’re thinking that everyone is playing, By precisely the aforementioned rules; We’re definitely either being disingenuous, Or perhaps we’re playing the part of fools.

Word-Worker
Word-Worker

Thee procurement and collection
Of this smattering of letters
No matter your predilection
For future employment of type setters
To criss and cross all the tees and eyes
Paying close attention to the prose
Transcribing thine inner reflections width and lengthwise
In all subsequent rows
By paying out the aforementioned
It may be held in contention
That without future authorship; I would be un-pensioned.

Imagination Revealed
Looking out a winter window
My eyes were focused on the snow.
A streetlight cast a yellow glow
Causing an eerie sight below.
The shadows from some barren trees
Seemed not unlike nightmarish dead
Dancing diabolically
Around a severed human head.
I rubbed my eyes and rubbed again
For what I witness can’t be real
I backed away from the cold pane
That’s when I spied a surreal
View, no doubt a clear distinction:
Aforementioned … my reflection!...

Soft Night So Quiet
SOFT NIGHT SO QUIET

MY SAD HEART CAN'T TAKE A RIOT

MY THOUGHT PROCESS MAKES A GENTLE WISH

I OFTEN DREAM OF THAT CAREFULLY DIVINE SWISH

THIS IS THE PERFECT TIME TO BE COMPLETELY STILL

IT IS AT THIS TIME THAT I CAN COMPLETELY FEEL

THOUGH NOWHERE NEAR, I CAN STILL HEAR THE WATER FLOW

NO SENSE OF FEAR, I CAN PERSEVERE AND JUST SIMPLY GO

I FELT COMPELLED TO SHARE THE AFOREMENTIONED WITH YOU

WISHING THAT YOU WERE STILL HERE, I SAY GOODNIGHT, AND PLEASENT DREAMS TOO...
