We have gen X, Y and Z
But what of A, B and C
Discounting the one celled amoeba
And Darwin
Perhaps Gen A was
Adam
Alone in the garden
With Eve
Gen B
Working on
Gen C
The rest are lost
Amid Cain and Abel
Noah
The Arc
And a lot of
the “begots”
And “begettin”
That has led
To the aforementioned
Gen X, Y and Z
