Fatigueability,a wrinkled mass
Or a time for exploration
Learning, adventuring so
One discovers truth
Existential strength
Pouring in bulk –
Masses come
Slowly

The cheap thrill
tobogganing down the slope
of the Aberfeldie Park hill
on a piece of cardboard
then adventuring to the smuggler's cave
near the Maribyrnong River
searching for buried treasure.

An expert archaeologist found
Adventuring in a long trek
Egyptian sarcophagus
Where rests a pharaoh and
Dearly beloved
Holding the hands
As promise
Of true
Love

Romanticism Romance - A Didactic Cinquain
Romance
Sentimental, torrid
Adventuring, dredging, wooing
Ever so medieval

Tantalizingly teasing taunting,
Radiating rapacious rapture,
Slowly seductively seducing,
Passion pulsing pleading,
Searching seeking suddenly,
Finding fulfilling feverishly,
Greedily grabbing grasping,
Clutching clasping close,
Amorously adventuring afar,
Becoming bewitched beguiled,
Drawn dazzled dazed,
Hurriedly headed home.

I do not know?
Paddling, struggling, striving,
We're canoeing and living.
Camping, hiking, sleeping,
We'll be journeying and dreaming.
Eating, singing, lifting,
We are having an adventuring.
Paddling, leaving, packing,
We're going and floating.
Arriving, accomplishing, celebrating,
We'll be returning, our homecoming.
Remembering, wishing, thinking,
We will be having passing memories.

When the sun comes out on a cloudy day
Neighborhood children come out to play,
My spirits are lifted, and gloom goes away
Because I am old, I appreciate the young
They bring back memories, songs I sung
Times adventuring, flings that were flung.
Carefree and happy, I watch them grow
Running everywhere with no place to go
Makes me want to go back….….although.

My shattered thoughts
Crawling helplessly from my painful mind,
Roaming separately in the misty night
This act, I cannot control
My shaken body,
Sweating unexpectedly on my bed,
Bleeding feelings as I was tortured inside
This one, I cannot handle
Got lost in my own mind
Have I woken up?
Or have I ever left real life?
Adventuring dream or breathing reality,
Which one does suit me?

I would like to live in a house in the The Shire;
sit upon the stoop, smoke a pipe, blow fancy rings
into the air.
I would like to go adventuring; slay the dragon,
retrieve it's hoard of gold, become a legend.
I would like to live to one hundred and eleven,
celebrate, then disappear.
Inspired by the adventures of Bilbo Baggins the Hobbit in JRR Tolkien's "The Fellowship of the Ring".

We can do almost anything
take a nap or go adventuring;
I get lost in how you make me feel
still I wonder is this connection real?
You set off such carnal energy
while keeping your thoughts from me;
So much love in a single glance,
or is it merely coincidence?
Catchy refrain oh the things you say;
then other times you just walk away;
Fighting then I sit and count to ten,
I’m In love with us all over again.

Decisions, Decisions.
What do I want?
Is it a beach house on the sand?
Someone to walk along with hand in hand?
I can search all day, but when will I find...
Something to ease this tension in my mind?
A burning passion hidden deep
An amber glow so still to keep
Adventuring to a distant shore
And telling tales of forgotten lore
I want to travel
I want to dream
This vision is where I wish to reside
Amongst a kingdom by the sea
And nestled up with the harmony of the tide.
