Neighborhood children come out to play,
My spirits are lifted, and gloom goes away

Because I am old, I appreciate the young
They bring back memories, songs I sung

Crawling helplessly from my painful mind,
Roaming separately in the misty night
This act, I cannot control

My shaken body,
Sweating unexpectedly on my bed, 
Bleeding feelings as I was tortured inside
This one, I cannot handle

Got lost in my own mind
Have I woken up?
Or have I ever left real life?
Adventuring dream or breathing reality,
Which one does suit me?...

sit upon the stoop, smoke a pipe, blow fancy rings
          into the air.

I would like to go adventuring; slay the dragon,
retrieve it's hoard of gold, become a legend.

I would like to live to one hundred and eleven,
celebrate, then disappear.

What do I want?

Someone to walk along with hand in hand?
I can search all day, but when will I find...
Something to ease this tension in my mind?
A burning passion hidden deep
An amber glow so still to keep
Adventuring to a distant shore
And telling tales of forgotten lore
I want to travel
I want to dream
This vision is where I wish to reside
Amongst a kingdom by the sea
