Night

The night has come
And gone away is our sun
The time of making hay is no more
We sleep waiting for tomorrow morn
But what if we don't wake to see the sun
Will our night praise the morn
Or the time the sun did come
Or cry,wail and moan
And beg father nature
To give us a chance to see another morn.

Free As a Bird

I fly across the sun lite sky,
The wind rushing under my wings,
I never want to land,
because I am as free as a bird,

I fly across the dark night sky,
Searching for food,
I can't see but I don't want to stop,
because I am as free as a bird,

I land in my bed,
Ready for the night sky to fall,
So I can sleep and dream about flying,
because in my dreams I am as,
Free as a bird.

The Night Ride

Scales of purple, black, and silver.
The moonlight dances on plated armor.
Twilight and I flew threw the dark night skies
on purple leather wings.

We fly as long as the night will allow.
I'm finding I can fly so high above
the chaos and normality of life.
Swooping down on a dark abyss
of an ocean that sparkles in the moonlight.
The horizon turns vermilion,
our ride is done until the night comes again.
