High Tail Mail
Like a post card of silent reticence
screaming "I wish you were here!"
my words choke and sputter to babble accost
as soon as I find myself near
Your valor and dignity held to admire
Your voice is my muse and delight
Just stamp me, and mail me, in time to derail me,
in time to repudiate flight....

Premium Member A Blemished Sky
splotchy clouds squeeze billions of raindrops from a blemished sky bruised with purplish charcoal grey blotches as lightning flashes and thunder accost the the face of heaven summoning the mournful tears of weeping angels (Yalto) 07,16,2019

Regret
Lonely yet you never alone
Unhappy yet you always smiling
They don’t know you yet they say they do
Drowning in a sea of perception and lies
Accost by irrational characters
Judged and rejected prior to hello
Identity, reason, hope and purpose all lost
Life lived thus far, a life full of regret
A life lived for others
A life not lived...

Premium Member Lost In Darkness
Shaken birds shrill cry across darkened sky,
Awaken to the biting cold wind howls.
Taken by flash of lighting pulsing heart,
Forsaken stretch of night as thunder scowls.

Lost in the darkness, of pounding chill rain,
Tossed round from the flicker of leaves and trees.
Accost the meager unvarying light.
Frost thins to a slight glimmer quick to seize.

Left
Why won’t you look me in the eye?
Is it the tears I continue to cry?
The lack of spirit has me lost,
With all I wish being to accost,
I feel crumpled like yesterday’s trash,
As you press on with thoughts so rash,
Cannot fathom not opening the doors,
Instead I curl up and re-open the sores,
All my knowledge felt so warm and positive,
Though appreciation in the end was causative....

Without a Warning
Without a warning, you can find
Your life completely changed
And all your daily habits
More than likely rearranged.

An unexpected illness,
Loss of job, divorce or stroke
May surprise and then accost you
While your plans go up in smoke.

Though we know that nothing’s certain,
Still, what bothers me the most
Is one minute you are coasting
And the next one you are toast....

Front Teeth Will Be Lost
Let me tell you what it will cost,
If you try to Richard accost:
Two of your front teeth shall be lost,
Straight two artificial teeth cost...

Interest in flashing arch smiles lost,
From time to time his dad accost
To show him what The Thing had cost.

I'm surprised at what thou dost
And at times feel squarely lost:
All the time wanting to raise dust;
All the time a combat, a must....

Judge Not
Judge Not

Judging human parasites—freeloaders
Foul fodder feeds these plights.
Judges accost not mans flights.
Homeless victims feel the blights.

Indifference
I found my pride lurking about,
it seemed confused and lost...
It was hanging out with my passion,
which I also will accost...
They have been missing for quite
some time...
But I just noticed yesterday...
My self-loathing was asking questions,
and my betrayal wanted its pay...
So I called my motivation,
but it didn't answer the phone...
The voice of complacency,
said to leave a message at the tone......

Allegiance of Rust
Long-lived morals over centuries lost/
You are one soul I refuse to accost/
Lack of appreciation/
Purely condemnation/
Undeserving of loyalty/
Seems you feel like royalty/
Certainly are misinformed/
Good within simply malformed/
Destroy my positive vibrations/
But recognize your obligations/
Cannot live to be alive/
Every scenario you contrive/
Will never thrive/
When no other soul will stay around/
You wish you would have propound/
Some form of favorable trust/
In the allegiance you let rust....
