I was never born a poet
But a pauper standing on a pulpit
Penning words in spring tide dings
Ritzy scribbling like trundling rings
Talons of my feet
Seething grounds I scratch and leet
Feathers I preen and wag
Over my scruff I rip and gag
On rivers and wells I soak and dip
Shimming on reflections I gobble or sip
Over hills and cliffs I hover and skip
Your face I slip over my lip
"Poetry brought life to a dreamer as a penner
But why is life more important than poetry as a winner?"

Area 51 reruns itself.
Tube-fed alien hitchhikers
hideout in paper suits and
sweat mercury.
Mothers in desert tan caravans
bleach breakfast,
call skinny kids in,
mid-century ray guns
glitter in sparking hands.
Comical signs
on shimming roads to nowhere
direct and redirect at will.
New Mexico keeps its spells
While headlines change minds.
Local Maps are 10 dollars further.
We want to stay cool
with a low maintenance blond
in an adobe dabbed motel
but there are silver balloons out there
they are made of desert dreams.
Tequila stained shotguns
hunt aluminum tracks.
In government condo’s
workers pack for a ride
to an unnamed airport
No name tags please,
no indications of culpability,
just load your life
point it between two trailing stars
shoot the gawking rumors
wherever they appear to fly from.

At the Planetarium, I saw them.
All alighted in the sky. I couldn't count them even if I tried.
Beautiful and shimmering, the beauty of diamonds in the sky.
Oh, what God has done such a merciful one. No beauty can behold it.
No one can make or copy. It's just as He has made it
and I appreciate it. So, the only place I can see the miracle in the sky.
The cloud has covered up the sky. And I wish that by and by
I can see it with the naked eye. There's so much to see out in
space nothing can take its place. A raw of shimming light, that
greet the days and the nights.
Have you ever stopped to think, we're just one link to this vast universe?. We're so busy running around. We don't take the time
to appreciate what God has made. Shame on us for it can be
all gone.
But I think it's time to do, take a trip to the Planetarium too
And see the wonders of our world. That's made for me and you.

Significance is signalized by interest
Unfounded truths can damage sworn loyalty
People seem friends, but act like wolves
Praising their false deeds instead of the true ones
Rotten inside, twisting words that are so convincing
Eliminating the evidence of extraordinary things
Shimming, as demons enter their malicious souls
Shoving aside what's good, holy and blessed
In impetous haste, they suppress every truth
Naiveness is not found in their impious character
Glory they demand, but nothing they are willing to give
Tarot reading must be accurate, or curses will follow
Ruling with deception, they reduce others to poverty
Uluate they won't, to conceal their obvious unhumaness
Tyrants shake their hands and promise them prominent positions
Horace himself would have despised these impudent, unethical folks
