A drifter and a dodger
drifting away from relationships
dodging commitments
Poor fellow
never found pleasure
in self-enrichment
God Smiles!!
God looked down and smiled.
“Why are you smiling?’ asked the angel.
"I saw a former politician on the road,
Trying to survive," said he.
Self enrichment and debauchery,
That defy the laws of righteousness,
And non-stop crimes and cover-ups
Have been the litany of his life.
Acquiring wealth the wrong way,
Narrowing the paths of minorities,
Fattening himself on other's sufferings
Can never be condoned!
Sad, but his glory days are over;
No one cares for him now.
This is the end of every man
Who misuses his power!
There is a configuration of morality.
If you forget to follow it,
You cannot escape the consequences!
Said God, with a smile.
