On a storied stormy season;
On some silent nights;
On some inactive days;
Some calm rivers will flow
As well as white-water rapids.
Many years have come and gone.
In some seasons there was rest.
In others, it seemed at times we roamed.
Multiple abodes better known as homes;
Schools of survival, both bitter and sweet;
Good times and bad, with occasional retreats.
Yesterday's stories are seedbeds of lessons.
Tomorrow will arrive with both worries and blessings.
This is the day made by God; so, let us rejoice in it.
