Sawtooth Poems

Dandelion Knows Well

We are familiar with dandelion flower

I also love how far and lightly flower seeds go,
fly away like snowflakes,
between concrete and asphalt,
in the cracked ground,
by the pile of garbage on the street,
those fresh, shiny, beautiful flowers,
equal and round,
blooming without getting bored?
i know well

With the suffering of the world,
even if body and soul bathe with sweat,
we are thinking of dandelion seeds,
we feel the sacred of the work

Without getting into deep waters down of the past,
relentlessly patience awaiting future gifts:
Today, reminding us of the value of our existence:
Dandelion,
since the old days
we know that our life is like a dandelion,
to be able to touch life to come,
so quietly far away,
we was aware of the power of labor

Didn't die last winter,
by the strong vitality,
revives again in the spring
even if stepped on and stepped on in spring and autumn,
it stands firm

Must live in the sun but
survive in the shade also,
abandoned by weeds
with sawtooth leaves
Grass' friend, dandelion,
thankful heart, giving as is,
The flower of love, you know us very well.

Igniting My Memories

Autumn leaves make the crisp air
Uncommonly warm and bright;
Theater for the eyes.
Undertones of red, orange, yellow, and green;
My mind returns to discovery days in Sawtooth forests or Sierra
Nevada meadows where sheep roam from high country to Nevada ranches.
Lively mountain climbs to lakes of glass
Encircled with aspens, willows, cottonwoods, and pine.
Awash in a painter's brush of
Vesicles; small splatters of autumnal colors.
Electrically igniting my memories
Scattered from childhood to adult.
