Sapphic Ode to Freyja

I hail Freyja, cat swain and Seidr’s Grand Dame
Goad me to pen mystical poems heart-felt
Vanir Goddess ,teach me trance, wisdom I aim
                          Witchcraft and wealth

Writing poems do flow when I think of thee
Vanir Goddess,Mistress of the Slain I do hail
Freya what I state is true please be near me
                             Freyja does not fail

Freyja,Ottr’s tale ,it gives me hope I say
Can you restore my legs so I can walk to ?
How can I pay Thee Grand Dame I do convey ?
                              I will pray to you

Vision Giver help me with my core sight
For years my mind does see black it drives me , mad
How can I pay you? Will verse and art be right?
                           Dame of love I add

Freyja one last bid make the US vote Jill Stein
Red and Blue are stagnate I do thus proclaim
Under Jill Stein ,US will shine ,that’s no moonshine
Grand Dame of Galdr I do claim

If Known

We desire to be successful
remain guided by dream of win
but fail to see the truth stressful
hiding with grin.

We try to follow dream without
knowing exactly what we want;
fact it’s not easy to stand out,
Its not for jaunt.

One needs vision, goals, attitude
ambition, motivation, trust,
grit, tenacity to improve
also needs thrust.

If known to win what to harness
may be we would not have started.

Premium Member Ode To a Twin

There is little difference between us.
It is as if Narcissus gazed again
to catch a glimpse of us for just a moment;
ourselves as echoes

Created from a common seed, divided.
Tiny ripples reflecting back at me.
Is this the way Narcissus felt, forever
gazing in a pool?

Living portrait of whom I see as me.
My perfect duplicate in flesh and blood
Where I end you start, and seem to be
 my echo and ripple.
