Iron monsters
with bearded men astride,
stir a whirlwind
crashing past me howling warnings
then evanesce into silence.
A man dressed
like an angel
concludes by saying, "take care"
before sallying forth
down the long cement block corrider.
I walk through the tunnel,
surrounded by multicolored tubes.
Figures in uniforms grow near then diminish
into vanishing point
entrances to new encounters.

Flagellant!
Flexor of the Temple's
Flexuous moulded walls
The high reliefs sallying through your
Flaunting fingers
Wrap the holy-comer with your
Invocatory maul
While word of Vedic prayer
Seeps from some steepening Brahmin wall
O stretched bowel of your potted paunch
In perspiration's puffing piped paean
Rivet the eyes of man and god
Outside the walls of priestly palaver
Monotonic bell and OM
OM and monotonic bell
OM
OMM
OM

Vanity of the sallying brain,
Kindling, as the flame burns
To sustain,
Only the wisdom of mind,
Brings no disdain,
Intriguing words of
Deliberated desires,
Where intentions of infidelity
Acquire
The attained loyalty of the
Unconscious mind,
Doubts of fearful defamations,
Devour when one loses
His wisdom and creation,
Thus loses life’s significance…
Only found within the
Pilgrimage of self,
Where the soul re-attains
The lost wisdom and originates
Wisdom of pure
Self-consciousness and awareness…
