Premium MemberThe Power of Our Arms

We learn quite early the one place we can always feel safe and free from harm from the moment we are born…is in our parent’s arms.

As babies they cradle us before we can walk…when we’re eating… as we’re sleeping…we feel their tenderness surround us every time they pick us up when we’re smiling…when we’re weeping.

It is not merely a coincidence that…with a smile on our face…our first steps are taken from across the room…into their warm embrace.

Then one day we begin to understand how our arms were created with the knack not only to receive love but, with a hug, to give it back.

From that moment on…when our life is happy…nothing quite compares…when we wrap our arms around each other and our happiness is shared.

Or how when sadness enters our life…in the comfort of each other’s arms we find a way….to blend our sadnesses together and for a moment wash our tears away.

And we come realize in life…down whatever path we’re heading…
the seeds of love are created in our hearts…
but it’s our arms that do their spreading.

Life

Where had my smile gone?
I all this alot.
It was stolen from me;
I wish it were not.
My frown always saddens me;
But I can't seem to stop.
I tend to hurt my own feelings;
It's me at fault.
I feel so much despair, depression, & pain;
I sometimes believe that life's just a game.
...... & Here I shall remain......

Premium MemberSeeking Serenity

Seeking Serenity

To seek serenity is simpler said than done

   at times so filled with sadnesses that come and go.

      When one's resolved or healed, another has begun...

         nowhere to go; nowhere to hide, nowhere to run.

The choice...stay put, adapt, relaxing with life's flow.

Support comes from inside with paths to guide us through,

   adjusting thoughts to glorify life's peaceful side,

      embracing joy beneath the sun and skies of blue.

         Hope, love, and faith can transfigure the darkest view!

Serenity...the calm...to where we steer life's ride.

Summer Night On the Volga

Night is hanging a kerchief with stars
above the sleeping Earth
above her sadnesses, passions,
above her restless head.
And only a lunar path
tells dreams to dark Volga.
A Romany fire burns
on the bank of this great Russian river.
Romany lass dances,
bracelets ring on wrists
skirts and curls of hair
fly up in dance.
She is the most beautiful lass in the world now!
That is why the wind is laughing
and night plays with tambourine
of moon and stars.

If Sadness Ruled the World

I f sadness ruled,
The world would be bare,
And none would wear a happy face.
Crying would be everywhere.
Hateful faces,
eyes pleading to be saved from thier eternal damnation,
no Jovial places
And when somone was happy they died.
Love would not exist
This is because the people would be happy
and you know what,everyone would love oly themselves.
Death would bring the ruler joy
Birth would send in to a tirade
And lovers running off to happiness
Would be caught and worked to the bone.
Narcissitic people would be the richer and that would make them all the sadder,
Their children would got to school and learn about times of despair.
that would shove the happiness down their throats.
so if one is always sad and never glad
they would be favored in king sadnesses eyes
So why not go and live in this hate filled kingdom,
With none to love but your sadness and yourself.
