Hillary Rodham Clinton

Hillary Rodham Clinton

She grew up with a man made itch
despite the fact there was a hitch
not to concede where men exceed
there was no time for mild refrains
she would get back in her domain

First Lady of a governor
First lady of a President
as Senator she used her skill
to lessen scandals with her Bill
until another came along

Secretary of US States
she softened the Benghazi fear
in hopes to quell another scare
but never bending to the jeers
although she didn't have a care

She never would be President
too many rumors to expose
the Russians chose one in her place
she went from grace to a disgrace
the time to find another space

Thirty thousand email checks
she set a tone for womens sex
no longer would there be a hex
or virtual guns with all that smoke
not to cheat but just repeat

to judge her as a crafty pol
who played the songs she loved to play
but look at whose in charge today
he dug us in a deeper hole

Hillary Rodham Clinton graduated from Yale Law School. She had served as secretary of state, senator from New York, first lady of the United States, first lady of Arkansas, a practicing lawyer and law professor. She's never forgotten where she came from. Hillary has fought for the needs of children everywhere and social justice. She was inspired by Martin Luther King Jr. after she heard him give a speech.

Our former First Lady of the United States ran for president of the United States and lost. She did win the people popular vote with 2,868,686 more votes, but lost the electoral vote by 77. The choice expressed collectively by the electoral college, which determines the winner of elections for president and vice-president in the US. If she had won, she would have been the first female president of the United States a great step for women.

Hymn For Hillary Rodham

The title of First Lady is no more than a reflected fame,
resting to such laurel falls outside her choosing frame.
Devotion and diligence having delineated her career trace,
faith and fidelity having paved decades of her footpace,
Senator, Secretary of State successively went to her name.
For her, still to surmount the first female POTUS place,
the hardest ceiling to break, the tallest order to tame.
But when she played fair, her opponents got the opposite case.

Foreign clout's long arm sneaked in,
domestic clown's long gown strutted out,
sweeping full view were snickering coyotes, their fangs churning,
who'd be here to heed my whimper and share my yearning?
As her lifetime endeavor came not to entelechy, but to stall,
how could her advocates stay away from wormwood and gall?

Hilary Rodham Clinton

Angel moved to and fro in Chicago, Illinois
Edgewater Hospital door opened
Dorothy Emma Howell Rodham was received
Travailed for a contributor to American she bore
Suddenly Hilary Diane Rodham Clinton
First page began, October 26, 1947

As a child in Park Ridge, Illinois
Her ability couldn’t be ignored
She displayed perfection in church and school
Received awards amongst her peers
She knew the sky would embrace her someday

She prepared her pages to Wellesley College
Her seed of greatness began to germinate
All eyes knew she was heading for the top
Diligence elected her president, Wellesley College
She was ready for her pages to be published to the world

She is a woman of notable character
Her virtue who can find
She worked hard with a vision
She is a woman sent to this generation
Committed to her responsibilities for her country
She is a woman the whole world
Is watching with big hands of applause
