Am I still blue?
Or gray or warm belly red?
On the day when the sun set the hottest
And loving fish were soaring from riversides
To set sail over the violent sky again -
Am I still sore of steel and diamond numb?
Singing the song of the dreary
And loving the sound, the whisper of it
Oh oh - how does that old tale go?
In the light of the living
In the dust, brushed by war-cowardice
I saw a blue woman - a blue dash
Against the harsh - reality of red.
All red. All the brightest sunsets
Hot heat slipping on the wind
Hot breath pouring onto her skin
Woman in the light of wanting
I have no thoughts but the open trot
And open kissing on my open living
Mind brimming with the dust of the blue
And the woman with her almost obscene
Half wrought, half smile - perfect
Half living - somewhere in my mind

River of Clouds
Lazy mists dawdle through valleys,
Wending in a river of clouds,
Surfs deep dales on rising tides.
Silver curly-cue veils dally
On twisting rivers like a shroud -
Leaves a pale kiss on riversides.
Mystic Rom roams the pine alleys,
Gypsy brume evergreens beclouds,
Cryptic nomad without a guide.
Flat bottomed shades float like galleys,
Wispy fogs tickle thunderclouds
Stolen cloud ships on a joy ride.
Rising tule croons playful songs -
Alto whispers for a singalong.

Caught between poetry and prose
Like two lovers sometimes I cannot decide between
Prose says to me, lets build something long and lasting
Yet poetry takes me by my hand and whispers,
‘come with me’
We can loose ourselves for awhile
The moon will help us carry our smiles
The sun will walk along with us down mountain paths
or flow along riversides
I am allowed to paint a rainbow in my sky
Even if darkness lies ahead and build a bridge
to help me reach the other side.
In magic tones and loves shade
colours that will never fade.
My eyes grow moist, my heart in tune
She lifts my mood as I see all those beloved faces
cross my path in bloom.

One drop,
a thread ... soon
brook .. .stream
Joining strength,
riversides... there goes
boy,
almost man,
flow, become
strong...
River... !

How we miss those lovely, verdant scenes
of woodlands that framed our riversides;
rich, with hearty trees and creature life...
callously mowed down, destroyed
in name of progress and development...
deforestation...acres of lush trees,
and their creatures also now long gone;
territory lost by human cause.
They left; now stray into our yards,
exiled, hungry, have nowhere to go.
Once they roamed in nature's paradise,
now destroyed and cleared
for building mega-mansions on the shore.
Wealth...with loss of nature's gifts;
no mind, the killing of the trees...
sending animals to roam our streets.
Where do we find solutions?
What can we do to save earth's loss?
Protect our creatures' lives?
As long as money rules...there are none.

Take my hand and I will lead you home
Back to a pure unspoiled love.
A love fresh like dew on blades of bright green grass.
and the sweet songs of birds in the morning
that make you forget about the past.
Take my hand love and I will lead you home.
Home is where our hearts once were.
We can be one again.
Hand holding and rain cursed heads.
I am yours for the taking.
I am yours to the death.
Take my hand dear and I will lead you,
to dark night kissed riversides.
Skinny dipping and underwater rides,
in a land of love,
a land of life.
Take my hand and I will lead you home,
through the rain forest foot beaten path,
on our way to nowhere,
as we laugh about a laugh.
Come.

looking up at sky last night
stars were all a shining bright
moon was glowing its delight
what a wonderful beautiful sight.
walking riversides lit up swoon
birds whistling their dreamy tune
trees a blowing in the breeze
leaves a falling ground they seize.
there upon a bench I sit
watching people pass me by
couples hands dog leashed to fit
winters sign across the sky.
wind did blow through waving hair
brushing softly tickled face
amazed I am to see you there
standing strong and tall of grace.
twilights music came to mind
violins singing dance began
angels wings filling with kind
moments heavens glad has ran.
