My mind is a garden
whose plants have grown tall
Their season end harvest
awaiting the call
Ideas and feelings
cross over in rows
The laughter of children
to lead where they go
My thoughts now a storeroom
the food all put up
Its sustenance waiting
for time to erupt
The answers gone fallow
inside of my head
All questions reseeded
—and pointing ahead

Strolling along looking out for new nature
Bluebirds nest along the way
Orange mushrooms have sprung to life
Smoke bomb mushrooms have shed their spores
Anticipation is the thrill and surprise
The marigolds have reseeded to new life
My late plantings of dill have sprouted
Now if the frost doesn't kill them too soon
Oh yes the post box, a new sample package
A Country magazine, and a bill yuck!
Tomorrow again anticipation

(This is a piece I thought about for a song i'm working with.)
Hearts break
devastation at it's peak.
I'm scared to jump
But feel compelled.
You scream at me to think about it.
But i have...
All the nights you left me in tears.
Heart breaking with each step you reseeded.
So here is to you.
Thanks..
Now I'll jump into the wind
and close my eyes during my gradual descend.
goodbye.
