Sometimes It Rains

Author Dana Redricks
January 15, 2012

Sometimes it rains and it brings you so much pain. Sometimes it rains and You have much to gain. Some times it rains so much it makes You want to go insane. Sometimes You wonder why my sky is so gray. When will I ever have my day. The strong wind is blowing but there is something about knowing that change is going to come. with each affliction comes a point of recondition. In our lives we search for unconditional love, It is our mission.

Premium MemberProud In the Crowd

It scarcely times to stand out from the eager crowd.
This is barely the proper time for a tame proud.
It is not the odd time to bitterly lament the tragic loss of a pebble.
It's not the accurate time for yearning and crumple.
We've allowed enough of beautiful utter weeping.
And a shallow cup of sensitive souls, as well as damaging.
We awful are in desperate need of a bold generation.
We dearly need brave folks willing to subtly recondition.
And not just for the sake of estranging.
Our green fantasies are rapidly declining.
To the blazing rays of the departing sun and the visible light of the living.

Redemption Road

Leaves of my soul
flutter in the fall,
lay offering, but
detached in time

absolute as another
breathtaking vision,
assaults my senses
to thieve breath

The offering Plate of life
Is passed at the end,
now naked I confess
I am bankrupt of hope

The shade of tomorrow
Fades into the distance,
mercy holds empty hands
Bereft of miracles, sigh

forever in awe of compassion
it touches ever more gently,
capturing a piece of beauty
for the heart of my mind

Becoming a galaxy
birthing four stars,
a miniscule speck
now stains forever

four lights flicker
to Guide me home
Stroking away pain
I finally steal resolve

A marathon of hurricanes
cross my peripheral,
and are driven into infinity
they will clear the way

Hope once again
Trickles into veins
broken but always
waiting to recondition

all that I am
is all that I can be
resting with infinity
under the southern stars

Peace holds my prayers
and redemption, waits

Just Some Ideas

Teach children to do research and experiments to cure cancer?

expand the mind to explore beyond what we know.

recycle, recondition, restore and renew the land

grow a crop of trees, flowers or whatever is beautiful to your minds eye....

physics is not for the weak.....

Invention....

Generate.....

The Collapse

I must refrain from
wearing a mask of depression,
Still retain joy in this deep
recession. Give America a
reason to be, but I must also
decree; that if this world goes
under, society must not
stumble.

But in a dark age of oppression,
we must rise up, and make the
difficult decisions. To keep the
world in disposition, to rise up
and recondition. In this new
world government, we must
rebuild. Reconstruct and regain
tranquility, rather then passing
new bills for these new issues
that arrived because of thee.

 We must amalgamate, to
create an environment that is
suitable. For the future of the
commonwealth, retire these
decrepit values, upon which
this country was propagated.

In order for this earth to
burgeon, the earth’s population
must reconciliate. Any being,
man or women, any race
abiding within our communal
purlieus.

For these reasons I must ask
the world to not accept the
future, but instead make a
change to better it. Hopefully
society will never relapse, and
cause another fatal collapse.

Switchblade Tragedy

Instant friction
Lost in a fiction
A certain malnutrition
Of the world we live in
Can't stop this rejection
Familiarization is a complication
A mirrored reflection
Down to the core of perfection

These are my switchblade tragedies
Deal on a dime
Don't know what it means
Just a lost cause with no novel-tine
And a condescending outlook to this nicotine

Casting the capers into oblivion
Laughing out loud at the world you threw me in
Can't stop the pounding
Living up to my surroundings
And as a matter of fact
Don't plan to take it back

These are my switchblade tragedies
So don't count on my own sweet parodies
A bitter-sweet taste that leaves you wanting more
To settle the score

Lost in my own transition
My own demolition
Fighting for my right to reposition
To recondition
These are what I call
My switchblade tragedies
It leaves you wanting more

It leaves you wanting more

Journey

As I recondition self
both mentally and physically
mentally I know
the journey is tedious
sweat and tears
mix but
my head must not drop
I can make it
solely
if I remain focused
on the mountaintop
few ever make it too see it
but revealed it was too me
something I guess about God's point of view
and his unconditionally love
so faithfully....
Many might not understand
but the ones who do
stay on bended knee
this was never personal
but it was about leaving a legacy
So I must persevere on
even when physically I don't feel it
the remaking of my mentality
will give me the key
to unlock the map to
this journey
