West Philippine Sea
A vast, restless blue,
a heart that beats with the monsoon's pulse,
a frontier,
where sky and water wrestle,
and islands, like scattered jewels,
catch the sun's fire.
Not just a sea,
but a story etched in currents,
a tapestry of tides,
woven with the whispers of fishermen,
and the silent, watchful gaze,
of ancient reefs.
A battleground of breath,
where waves clash against the shore,
a symphony of spray,
and the cries of gulls,
a chorus of the wild,
a constant, churning churn.
Deep trenches hold secrets,
dark, fathomless mysteries,
where sunlight fails,
and creatures, luminous and strange,
drift through the silent depths,
a world unseen.
Islands rise, defiant,
green sentinels against the blue,
each a world unto itself,
a haven for birds, for life,
a fragile balance,
against the ocean's might.
A place of tension,
where borders blur and dreams collide,
a space of longing,
of hope, and of fear,
a wide open canvas,
painted with the hues of the wind.
The West Philippine Sea,
a mirror to the soul,
reflecting the vastness within,
the depths we dare not plumb,
a place where the horizon stretches,
and the heart
finds both solace and storm.
