We Are All Like Fish Swimming In A Shoal

We are all like fishes
Swimming up and down
Following each other
Around and around
Turning direction
Once in a while
Following fickle fashion in style
Some of us are piranhas
Others trout
We can swim alone
But often better in pairs
Or groups that are know
We try to keep our heads above the water
Waters is something we can't live without
We have to be weary
Avoiding tempting bait looking so sweet we end up hooked
We have to be aware of the dangers and think clearly
It's much too late if you do get hooked
And try to riddle out of the trap
You lose your breath and end up getting cooked
Occasionally we rise up
Creating circular ripple poolsTo take a breath
And try to kiss the sky but we're often out of luck
We search for tasty morsels to feed
Everywhere here and there
Under the lilies and among the reeds
We all need light and shade
Sun and rain
A home under a rock that we have made
Spring makes doves fall in love
It's breeding season once more
And flowers grow and sprinkled from above
Small fish often get swallowed up by bigger fish
With greedy mouths then spit you out
They are Wales and you're just a trout on their shopping list
Fish come in all shapes and sizes multicoloured
And may wear different clothes
Instead of killing each other, we should sister and brother
Swim in the same direction in one shoal.
