In this century, we have forgotten to value old age and the wisdom that comes with it,
we worship health, virtual networks, artificial intelligence, and speed,
believing we are kings of life, but in fact, we are blind slaves to unripe desires,
servants of our own lives, as we live in an unfinished dream, a labyrinth of illusions.
The office is not an important step but a target in a futile battle for power,
healthcare costs rise, and people lie silent in beds without thoughts,
we pray for them, but I would prefer to die sooner and with dignity.
I want to leave not as a body but as a person who lived their story with meaning.
If we exclude the wisdom of the elders, we trap ourselves in quick solutions,
we lose ourselves in mundane debts, in business and speed, and remain unhappy,
for the time we have ahead is for memories, reconciliation, and redemption.
It is our choice to follow wisdom or desires, to rediscover our humanity.
Through the flow of my consciousness, I see a path back to roots and forgotten truths,
where time flows gently, like a river that embraces the banks of life with tenderness,
and in this tranquility, I choose to live and die with dignity, as a free soul.
