Have You Ever
Have you watched the clouds roll by
Have ever watched a spider spin it's web
Have ever glanced upwards at the trees in Autumn
Have you ever watched a leaf tumble in the wind
Have you ever given a smile away just to make someone's day
Have you ever knelt down along the river folded your hands in belief and prayed
Have you ever skipped a rock in your favorite lake and counted each step until it faded away
Have you ever loved endlessly until a tear rolled down your face
Have you ever tried something new and watch the passion envelope you
Have you ever watched shadows dance as if it was just you and me
Have you ever touched twilights dream
And watched each star twinkling
Have you ever plucked a flower in spring
And gave it to your loving dream
Have you ever sat in silence and lit a candle and simply believed
Have you ever splashed in a puddle of rain and ran naked through the woodland trees
Have you ever
Thought of me
Just me
And made Angel's in the snow
On Christmas eve
I kept it just the way it flowed from my ink and quill
