Remember how it was in school
Diverse and sundry subjects -- Cool!
History, Math, Chemistry; Art and Music too
A Foreign Language, Swimming in a pool
Our minds were open, we took it in
With time left over to smile and grin ...
Today we spend all day to write two poems
Our brains perhaps have morphed into thumbs
