The Refiner's Fire
In the crucible of love, we're tested and tried,
Our hearts beaten, bruised, and scarred inside,
The flames of passion, fierce and wild and free,
Can burn away the facade, revealing what we truly be.
Like silver purified, our love's refined,
Through trials and tribulations, it's defined,
The cutter's edge, though sharp as pain,
Shapes us, molds us, for love's sweet gain.
Tears fall like rain, our hearts laid bare,
Yet in the darkness, love's spark is there,
A light that flickers, but never fades,
Guiding us through life's turbulent shades.
The road to true love's long and winding way,
Paved with heartbreaks, pain, and dismay,
But every step, every fall, every rise,
Brings us closer to love's sweet surprise.
For love's not just a feeling, but a choice,
A commitment to stand through every voice,
To weather every storm, to brave the night,
And hold on tight, till morning's first light.
So let the refiner's fire burn bright,
Let love's crucible test our might,
For in the fire, we're purified and made new,
And in the pain, our love shines through.
Through every trial, every test of time,
Our love's refined, like gold that's truly mine,
And when the fire's died, and the pain's subsided,
We'll find that true love's worth the price we've paid.
