Striking the Embers Burning Hot
Fear you're trapped in the lie
begging to believe anything other
afraid of the truth shutting down opposition
Whatever articles you have swallowed lacks manners
wallowing in muck disturbed by correction seeking pity
to rise above such human weakness forgiving error
Acknowledge the fault of your own downfall
wrong will never be right answering the question
pride treating wisdom as the worm that ate the apple
