Splashing in Puddles
Splashing in puddles is more fun than I remembered from last year
The duck was hopping up and down, giving his gnome a bit of cheer.
Gnome was jumping from puddle to puddle, laughing like a loon.
They had to hurry though, for grandma would be here soon.
Mommy had put them out to wait beside the porch for her.
The puddle jumping was a bonus, the water cold and pure.
Splashing is exciting! The duck told his excited wet friend.
Grandma arrived to jump with them, they hoped April would not end.
