Shamans Question Known and Unknown
The Moon's silvery light looks wet,
Must be the remnants of the Sun's sweat.
Great chariots slide off it's colossal path,
Immersing themselves in a Galactic bath.
Shamans weep at the knowing what's next,
Crystalline tears upon paper become text.
The unknown becomes known to the Mystic at hand,
Only needing the skills to fix it in broadband.
Acolytes dance frenzily atop the crusted Earth,
Awakening the soul made comatose at birth.
Circular they move forming a protective ring,
While the Shaman's trance reveals what the future brings.
What higher purpose beyond the mind of man,
That which unfound that sightless eyes can't scan ?
What do we covet most, escaping from our grasp,
How do we contemplate unknown too mental lapse ?
Why are we placed here, upon fields of glorious growth ?
Genius minds have scratched the surface,
.....of what we may knoweth.
Where do we embark, allowing the Spirit to fly,
Tantalizing present thought as future realms are nigh ?
Fixated are the scholars deemed worthy of progress,
Mediocrity shelved as expectation less.
Science is a field, of failures and success,
Those whom failed most, are those that brought the best.
Frustration quickly allied persistence and pursuit,
The seed of great intelligence began to bear it's fruit.
Employing calculation assuring what computes,
Knowing all the while, the many too refute.
Earth, Fire, Water, and Air : examples of nature given,
Extracted for our use has improved the life we're livin'.
