Raise Up
The love will grow cold division jealousy to degree of separation
Blindfolded by the truth so often spoken family’s on the attack
The distance pains me for no one sees the growing apart and falling
Out of family’s
Open your eyes look around you and I they smile in your face
Deep down inside there plotting to knock you out to take your peace
Break you down with weakness to close to the heart is where the love is
Have we fallen asleep that we do not see the signs of the times?
Too often spoken wise up to raise up let our voices be heard as mothers we cry
For our love ones are being attacked a spiritual war is in full effect
I keep my distance I keep to myself it pains me to see how true the signs
Of the times are coming true I am often blue for those that haven’t a clue
As what is really happening we knew these days would come
Separating distension to mention a few we knew it’s not new news
I will not sleep till I put the full armor on my family and friends
Each and every night for peace will be still and the love of god enfolds them
I am not perfect I am a working progress we all are falling short of god’s grace
Too much violence to close to home where the heart is getting hit hard
Be open to seeing to hear to receive for soon there will be no more time
In a blink of an eye nothing will be as it was but worst
For the signs of the times are upon us don’t let the green grass
Fool you is the same on the other side the sun won’t shine when the sky is dark gray
And the stars don’t light the way wise up
