The Pharisee and the Publican continued Luke 18:11-14 part two

You that I am not like other men--extortioners, or even like this tax collector.
'I fast twice a week; I give tithes of all I possess.' And the tax collector standing
afar off, would not so much raise his eyes to heaven, but beat his breast saying,"
Lord, be merciful to me a sinner!" "I tell you, this man went down to his house
justified rather than the other; for everyone who exalts himself will be humbled,
and he who humbles himself will be exalted."

Luke 19:1-10
Then Jesus entered and passed through Jericho. Now, behold, there was a man
named Zacchaues, who was a chief tax collector and he was rich. And he sought
to see where Jesus was, but could not because of the crowd for he was of short
stature. So he ran ahead and climbed into a Sycamore tree to see Him, for He
was going to pass that way.

And when Jesus came to the place, He looked up and saw him, and said to him,"
Zachaeus, make haste and come down for today I must stay at your house." So
he made haste and came down, and received him joyfully. But when they saw it,
they all complained saying,"He has gone to be a guest of a man who is a sinner."
Then Zacchaeus stood up saying,"Look. Lord I give half of my goods to the poor;
and if I have taken anything from anyone by false accusation, I restore four-fold."

And Jesus said to him,"Today, salvation has come to this house, because he is
also a son of Abraham: For the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that
which was lost."
Matt. 15:21-28
Then Jesus went from there and came to a region of Tyre and Sidon. And behold
a woman of Canaan came from that region and cried out to Him,"Have mercy on me,
O Lord, Son of David! My daughter is severely demon possessed." But He answered
her not with a word. And His disciples came and urged Him saying,"Send her away
for she cries out after us." But He answered and said,"I was not sent expect to the lost
sheep of Israel." Than she came and worshiped Him saying,"Lord, help me!" But He
answered and said,"It is not good to take bread and take and give to the little dogs (gentiles)." And she said,"Yes, Lord, yet even the little dogs eat the crumbs which
fall from their master's table." Then Jesus answered and said to her,"O woman,
great is your faith! Let it be to you as you so desired."
