New! I’m calling this poetry form GRACE TRAIN – the end of first line becomes the beginning of the third line through a stanza with eight lines.
Gentle is the leaf that falls, soft
As autumn’s breath
Soft is the color of fall, whispering
Light into the spirit
Whispering hope, faith and love
Beyond the skies so blue
Love like words cannot express
Blazing, rustling, sentiments
Laughing, healing, hoping time
Will leave her thoughts
Time pouring out her kindest joy
Blessing hearts who know
Joy in the song of His glory
Know that He is still, sure
Glory more wonderful each moment
Offering hearts the truth
God is wise and filles the skies
With a burning bliss
Skies in azure, cobalt and beautiful
Peace so warm it feels charmed
Beautiful like the twilight’s smiling
Bringing souls autumn praise
Smiling so that all can see His light
Passing through, singing grace
Wise are those who heed His word
Listening for His voice
Word of faith, word of promise, prayers
From those who know Him,
Prayers sublime, hastening through quiet
So everywhere, the air sings
Quiet are stars and moon, serenity proving
He is the One who hears our tears
When I don’t know where to turn
It is God who brings me home
Turn to the One who knows love is more
Than just the passing of a thought
More beautiful than the autumn’s star
Silencing grief, soothing souls
Star of light, star so wise, star so bright
Bringing hope to the believers
His is a love that makes the heart beat
With such familiar rhythms
Beat so that all the world feels His wonder
Bringing alive the splendor of praise
Wonder so amazing – we’ll never stop praising
Giving Him the honor, the glory
Praising so He sees, though we are nothing
His love is worthy of everything
Everything – He is the answer, the moment
Before my soul knew doubt
Moment beyond question, tender gesture
Fading from the lips in a whisper
Gesture of love, sent down from God above
So we’ll always be blessed with knowing
Above us, there is One who sends us grace
The promise of love that will never fade
Sing to the night, the autumn holds insight
For those who listen to the falling leaves,
Insight in believing, insight in the breathing
Between two mysteries – maze of seeing
Breathing so that only the heart can know
The meaning of a love that comes to those
Know Him, the only One who can save the soul
From eternity without the only love…
That means we’ll be living with the Savior,
The only ONE who is worthy of our praises,
Savior of the soul, Savior whom I know
As life giver, way maker, promise keeper
Know Him and know love that never ends,
Love so alive – love without sin,
Ends all strife, making room for the afterlife
Never let go of Him – He is like the wind…
His spirit forever sends us gusts of grace,
Heartfelt hopes, happiness that lasts
Grace that fulfills every life, every heart
With a wonderful that is never silent
Heart beats with an adoration that explains
Just like the wind, He silences the pain
Explains that love will forever abide
Inside those who just stay by His side!
Never stop believing – He is all we’ll ever need!
