Chetta Achara currently has an interesting blog explaining a new poetry form she found online dating back to 2006 - Chronos~w - based on pi squared. The form is one stanza, 5 lines, with a 9,8,6,9,6 scheme based on words, not syllables. Here is Chetta's blog link:

I was intrigued, so I decided to try it, resulting in the two poems below. As I was writing the first poem it gave off a limerick vibe, as did my second poem. Not a true limerick, but a limerick vibe. The example in Chetta's blog didn't give off a limerick vibe. Therein lies the fun ;-)
One more thing. I treat PoetrySoup as one word, a portmanteau made from poetry and soup. Plus it's written as PoetrySoup on the website. So it's one word in my poem. You may disagree, and I accept that. But it's my post, and I have a poetic license that expires on Friday, December 31, 9999. So let's agree to disagree. ;-)
