We Depend On Merciful God

Feeling tired and walking slowly humming,
I reach home to get a restful night; it's dawn,
it's the gloomiest twilight in the smallest town
cats are startled by me and start running!

I could crash into the bed and dream away,
not eat anything and fall asleep quietly;
is it my habit, I call rite, to forget to pray
not have an angel on my side when I lay
down and be taken into another distant world?
Who's my priority: adored sleep or the Lord?

Don't we depend on merciful God,
on everything we stumble upon
within the limits of persuasion?
Don't we depend on merciful God
and owe Him the wonderful life we breathe?
A wreath of laurel is not given to an elite...
if faith is not instilled in him from childhood,
humble people feel it more, it's a tale of old!

We depend on God as the creatures
that roam around and try to survive;
the more intelligent one is, the greater
is the perception of real things to cherish...
from a stunning discovery to a realistic wish!

Time is no keeper, memory is called brain;
one speeds away to end the end the day,
the other preserves everything in a bubble...
until we bust it and begin our race again!
