God offers us a place of refuge with His compassion
Inside His fortress of abundant provision
Letting our faith trust His heavenly vision
To conquer doubt and unbelief’s oppression.
God offers us a place of refuge with His mercy
Inside His protection of safeguarding fervency
Letting our faith rest in His contentment’s sufficiency
To win over prayer-inconsistency.
God offers us a place of refuge with His grace
Inside His goodness of wondrous ways
Letting our faith increase along His Word’s rays
To stay in His will always and throughout all the days.
God offers us a place of refuge with His victory
Inside His truth of Scriptural territory
Letting our faith grow for His glory
To suppress worry and sin-caused misery.
God offers us a place of refuge with His kindness
Inside His love of heartfelt forgiveness
Letting our faith strive toward holiness
To testify about His righteousness.
God offers us a place of refuge with His comfort
Inside His pardon of rebuke midst divine discipline-court
Letting our faith seek for His strength of no retort
To abide in His fellowship of sweet partnership report.
God offers us a place of refuge with His encouragement
Inside His care of cheerful sentiment
Letting our faith continue in His kingdom-advancement
To rejoice in Him while serving with His accomplishment.
