Mutated Desires

I can tell
by the way you’re looking at me,
you got mutated desires
Everything is gonna change,
once we crossover into the intimacy lane
When we make our first intimate toll exchange,
everything is gonna change ...
Into mutated desires
I’m not a virgin to the longings of a stowaway heart,
wanting to take their hidden emotions
to a different place
Settle into a new personal space time zone
Are you ready to take this maiden voyage,
go on a journey to love?
Board the good relationship Lollipop
Are you ready to lick any problem together,
			       give it all we got?
Everything changing at a fast pace
Mutated desires morphing ...
	     wearing a chameleon face
Kaleidoscope of colorful thoughts and moods spinning
Some days we’ll be up,
other days we’ll be down
The wheel of varying expectations keep spinning
‘round and ‘round
And the wheel keep spinning faster, it’s all a blur
Tell me why today are you frowning,
tell me why tomorrow are you grinning
Some days will feel like we’re losing,
other days feeling like we’re winning
Are our two hearts prepared for the sudden change
Will these desires turn from pleasure to pain:
Bright blue skies
		glass of sunshine orange
Now dark, black clouds
cup of tears, taste of purple rain
Will these desires change once more again —
from chaste, abstinence pain
	to lustful gluttonous suffering
You wanna know
why do I ask such sensitive things
Greeting my hello each morning,
I wanna know,
will there be a different person answering
Mutating into more mutating ...
do you fear the blob of uncertainty awaiting?
Mutated desires ...
I’m not a virgin to the yearnings of a lonely heart,
but, are you sure
that a platonic divorce is how you wanna start
Mutated desires,
everything changing ... changing so fast
I must ask: will there be a change of address also?
Mutated desires,
everything changing ... changing so fast
I must ask: will there be a surname change as well?
