Mistaking Blessings For Problems

Life produces things that go against my grain,
and often I see them numbered as drops of rain.
During sleep, these problems just hibernate,
and sunup finds them fresh and at my gate.
But oft times, those that nap with me unsolved,
I find that sleep and prayer have them resolved.
Sometimes problems are blessings in disguise,
and were only considered problems in my eyes.
Because I can’t see beyond a moments time,
I need the covering of prayer at each bedtime.
I can’t foresee the entire path God has for me,
so with eyes of faith, with Him, I must agree.
Sometimes when I awaken, I find to my surprise,
my problem wasn’t such, but blessing in disguise.
