Rushed It To Complete

Hardly even sputters to a start,
The engine churns,
Feel the vibrations in my heart.
Machine gutworks,
That’s none other than my own love,
I’ve come too far though.

I’m not even happy when on the chem though,
Silence speaks volumes,
Silence can’t say what you intend though.
Life’s been worse since I found out the damage in my chem flow,
Violence in the night,
Hurt yourself worse than any of your kinfolk.
Nirvana seems more like a heaven,
Feels like I ain’t ever really been though,
They say you get high and smile until the end shows,
You never really know pain until you’re abandoned by your kin though.

Had two parents,
That’s how the story goes.
Married to the pen,
The smell of ink makes me think “home”.
My teeth marinated in the stink,
Looking like they were plated gold.
