The New Beggar

Every Friday he visits our home, promptly He presses the calling bell and stands calmly. I open the door and looks him keenly He is a new beggar with dresses neatly
I give him a ten rupee coin willingly. But he refuses to get it, hesitatingly. I ask the reason for not getting the alms He puts his finger on nose, head and calms.
I come to know that he is a deaf and dumb And he gets alms only from the women.
My wife has come and gives him money. He nods his head and keeps it as honey
One day I see him near the temple. He reads an English daily and eats bread And he is a puzzle for me and others To know about him,I am not a mind reader.
