leave nature alone

Leave nature alone

As I walked through the forest, I was in total awe of all the beauty I saw.
Trees that reached up into the skies as white clouds floated by.
Two squirrels playing tag around a tree stopped and looked at me.
In my mind, I heard them say: "Since they've come, life has never been the same - they are taking our homes, our domains. They are cutting down our trees where we play, and our food has been taken away.
GOD gave us these beauties for us to share, yet it seems like they just don't care. No more rivers, lakes, or ponds - all of this will be gone.
No more grass, no more trees, and not even a passing breeze.
All the rapids will still include the mountains and the hills. There will be no more chirping in the trees, and all the ground animals will hide in fear when they see that we are near.
Nature gave us everything that we need to live, but in turn we must give. We must replace all that we destroy for every girl and boy.
We are destroying our planet Earth and taking from it " all its worth ".
Pollution is destroying the skies, the oceans, the rivers, and the streams, and all that's left is just our dreams.
There is civil unrest throughout this world, and countries fighting each other, and all that's heard is the roaring thunder.
All world politicians want control over something they cannot hold, and the will of the common man is something they don't understand.
The public has forgotten the basics and how to survive, and no longer hears the children's cries.
All our pioneers are gone, and no one is left to carry on. We cannot bring back the past, so let's make our future last with no more wars, no more greed on which the politicians can feed.
If animals can live in harmony, why can't we?
